YOUR FIRST JUMP

Start by taking one of our free shuttles, picking up daily from the Las Vegas Strip, and take a short 30-minute drive to Skydive Las Vegas. Once you arrive, you will be trained by a professional Tandem Instructor. Each Tandem Instructor is licensed by the United States Parachute Association, with years of experience and thousands of tandem skydives. Skydive Las Vegas offers state of the art Sigma parachute systems; the best and safest equipment in the industry. We will than fly you up to 15,000 feet MSL in SKYDIVE 1 the Skydive Las Vegas 2009 PAC 750XL, the only plane built specifically for skydiving.

Tandem Skydiving is the easiest, safest and by far the most popular way to make your first skydive. It also gives you a great introduction into the sport of skydiving. Attached securely to one of our highly qualified and licensed Tandem Instructors through a dual harness system, you get to experience the thrill ride of your life and pilot a parachute made for two. After a short training session on safety, exiting the aircraft and freefall body position, we will have you jumping out of our airplane from 15,000 feet. Once the parachute opens, your instructor will then guide you through controlling and flying a tandem parachute, and land you safely on the ground.

During the airplane ride and skydive you will see Lake Mead, Hoover Dam, Valley of Fire, Lake Las Vegas, Colorado River, Lake Mohave, Red Rock Canyon, Mt. Charleston and the entire Las Vegas Strip; the view is unbelievable. Then you and your instructor will jump, free falling at 120 + MPH for 30 to 45 seconds. After the parachute opens you will have a 5 to 7-minute parachute ride where you will be able to help the instructor steer the parachute to the ground for a nice soft landing.

Make sure to wear comfortable, weather appropriate clothes and lace up athletic shoes; we will supply you with a jumpsuit, goggles and a harness.
